Privacy policy

This page explains what SportsOracle (sportsoracle.uk) collects and how it is used.

What we collect

• Account: your name, email and a password stored only in scrambled (hashed) form.
• What you save: bets you log, favourites and similar records, so they are there when you return.
• Subscription: whether you have a trial or a paid month, and the amount, date and reference of each payment. Your card details are handled by Paystack and never reach us.
• Visits: a random visitor cookie, the approximate country of the visit and the pages viewed, used to count how many people use the site.

Cookies

We use a sign-in cookie to keep you logged in and a visitor cookie for the counts above. We do not use advertising cookies.

How we use it

To run your account, take and confirm payments, keep the site secure, answer your emails and improve the service.

Who else handles it

Paystack processes payments. Our hosting and database providers store the site's data, and our email provider handles messages sent to contact@sportsoracle.uk. We do not sell your data.

How long we keep it

While your account exists. Payment records are kept as long as needed for accounts and disputes. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal details, except records we must keep.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data under Nigerian data protection law. Email contact@sportsoracle.uk from the address on your account.

Age

The site is for adults, 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes. If a change matters to you, we will tell you on the site or by email.
